About

Lincolnshire Makes is a passion project of writer Sarah Lamballe supported by photographer Beki Doig.

Since landing in Lincolnshire in the mid 90s, Sarah has championed the softly spoken beauty of the Wolds, the heritage of our cathedral City and the wild quietness of the Lincolnshire Coast.

She has volunteered for award winning town teams and built beautiful spaces to attract visitors and celebrate Lincolnshire’s artist and maker community tucked away from Grimsby to the Fens.

With Lincolnshire Makes Sarah hopes to curate a unique editorial space to share what the county does so well with a wider audience.

From arts and crafts, food and drink, to lifestyle experiences and making a real difference through sustainability, Lincolnshire Makes thoughtfully reveals the treasures of England’s last undiscovered county.

If you have ideas for artisans and creative makers to feature on Lincolnshire Makes then please get in touch via submissions.

If you would like help creating content for our own business then please contact us so we can bring your story to life in words and pictures. We’d love to start working with more local businesses.
